On a very wet track with big raindrops, the KF final started at Sarno with Karol Basz (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Tom Joyner (Zanardi / Parilla) on the front row, Nikita Mazepin (Tony Kart / Vortex) and Nicklas Nielsen (Kosmic / Vortex) on the second, and Martijn Van Leeuwen (Zanardi / Parilla) and Callum Ilott ((Zanardi / Parilla) on the 3rd. Sidney Gomez (CRG / TM) retired. Basz immediately pulled out a lead from Nielsen who was hounded by Ilott. Kevin Rossel (Tony Kart / TM) in 5th had gained 6 places, Karol Dabski (Praga / Parilla) in 6th 10 places, Niko Kari (Tony Kart / Vortex) in 7th 13 places and Stefano Cucco (Birel / TM) in 8th 10 places. Alessio Lorandi (Tony Kart / TM) and Gabriel Aubry (Tony Kart / Vortex) were at the back of the pack after a difficult first lap, and Joyner was 19th.
Ilott found a gap and took Nielsen, followed closely by Mazepin. Jehan Daruvala (FA Kart / Vortex) was in 15th position. Basz kept the pace over 2” in front of Ilott. The Polish driver posted the fastest time and pulled out a lead of more than 3” in mid-race. Nielsen was in third 5” behind Ilott. Mazepin attacked and captured third position on lap 8. Egor Stupenkov (Energy / TM) returned to Rossel to gain 5th place on lap 9. The race moved slowly towards its conclusion. Victory and fastest lap went to Basz ahead of Ilott and Mazepin. Nielsen was 4th, Stupenkov 5th and Rossel 6th, Dabski was 7th, Van Leeuwen 8th, Sitnikov 9th and Cucco 10th.
